Isle of Wight Classic Motor Show 2023

The Isle of Wight Classic Motor Show (formerly Isle of Wight Classic Car Extravaganza) has been taking place on the Island since 2001.

Since its inception, the Isle of Wight Classic Motor Show has been a highlight on the island’s calendar, drawing crowds from near and far to celebrate the timeless allure of vintage vehicles.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s ride, 2024

This was a charity ride called the distinguished gentleman’s ride. It takes place on the same day, all over the world. In 2024 it was May 19th and Bert’s was a place where many riders gathered. The charity is the Movember movement which raises money and awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer.

Paul Starkey racing

Bert’s owner and manager Paul Starkey is a former racer himself. here he is back in the early 2000s racing in the Yamaha Past Master’s championship with Bemsee.

21st Classic Car Extravaganza, 2022

At the 21st classic car extravaganza in September 2022. First full motorcycle display with our bikes and those of our very kind clients. The organiser, Vic Gallucci, was very positive about our display and we plan on returning to future events. Sadly, Victor is no longer with us, but the Extravaganza looks set to continue in his memory.

Alfie Thompson

Past trainee, Alfie Thompson racing in the Southerly Motocross Championship. We supplied parts and technical support and maintenance when needed. He carried out most of the work himself.

Andy Whittall

Islander, Andy Whittall with his KTM 500exc competing in Ralli Raid. He took part in the Hellas Rally in Greece. We help Andy with discounted maintenance and parts for his bikes which have now turned to more historic rallying machines.

Ryan Whitehall

Ryan Whitehall from Niton, racing in the Irish Road Racing series on his Yamaha R1 and R6. We helped Ryan, where we could, with parts and financial support and hope to do so again in the future.
